To help the Obama administration identify right-wing extremists, I offer some indicators. Not everyone who has these indicators is a conservative; indeed, many liberals and moderates may also share some of these indicators.

But the more indicators a person has, the more likely that person is a member of the VRWC.

1. Pays his or her taxes on time and in full.

2. Meets his or her mortgage payment each month on time and in full.

3. Displays the flag.

4. Respects the U.S. military.

5. Stands up when the “Star Spangled Banner” is played.

6. Considered John McCain to be a moderate.

7. Never had tofu.

8. Thinks the Constitution protects the people, and not the government.

9. Thinks the Constitution protects Americans, not foreigners who attack our soldiers.

10. Thinks gun ownership is guaranteed by the Constitution.

I trust as a loyal American I have helped the government.

Oh yeah, put that down as Indicator No. 11.

Helping the administration

Just so you all understand you have all been I.D.ed by a Homeland Security report dated April 7th. That has been sent to Police and all types of law enforcement groups. Visit Michelle Malkins website to read it. We are all "Right Wing Extremist" now so we are fast becoming a "Protected Class" now. Lol.

I fail on these two:

6. Considered John McCain to be a moderate. - I think he's a flaming liberal, he's a senator from my state and I refused to vote for him in the last 2 senatorial races here - left it blank. DID vote for him for pres, just to try to stop the commie.

7. Never had tofu. - Tried it once, will try almost anything ONCE! ;)

And would add:

11. Stocks up supplies against any coming collapse or calamity so we don't have to depend on anyone or beg for food from them. Hangs out on survivalist web sites to gather and share info!

I also stock up on my pea shooters and peas! In fact, I plan to reload a bunch of peas soon and also get more at the "Pea" show in Phoenix on the 25th of this month. Can't run low on peas. You never know.

I am preparing for the worst and truly hoping for the best. Hopefully, our "representatives" will see the light but I am not holding my breath.

I'm retired military, 24 years, and have put in another 15 teaching young soldiers how to do their jobs. Total time in servitude to the US Govt, 39 years. I like to think I have supported this country and her government. There were years when we made next to nothing, and got no handouts from the government. I worked two jobs and Skyowl"s wife worked one. We raised three children at the same time.

The one thing I truly hate is people claiming that the government owes them something.

I agree with Skyowl's wife, McCain is not a conservative and Tofu is not in my dictionary of things one can eat.

Some just don't understand, or don't care, that when you accept handouts from the government you are inviting them into your lives and giving them control over you. :(

Ya know...I try to tell these parents that come in here to the treatment center for their kids that want medicaid to help pay the bill. I ask them," do you really want the government in your life that much, they will want to know everything about you". They just want the money and don't care. It's truely sad.

Oh I know that there are a some people who have fallen on hard times due to illness or accident and need help. It is the ones who consider government handouts their ONLY source of income that bother me. :( THEY are the ones who don't care that the government controls them.
