Any of you all ever use Google Earth to scope out your surrounding areas?

Google Earth is one of the coolest things I have seen on the web. I have flown all around my land and can even tell what car I had parked and where. I have flown to Rome and Hawaii. I highly recommend it for fun and information.
Those who would trade freedom for security will end up with neither.

I agree. I don't know why I waited so long to install it. I got to "revisit" a few places in Uganda that I had visited and loved...it is very cool.

That's how I found the house I am living in now. I found which houses were for sale, then looked them up on google earth to see what was in the area.:D

It is very cool. Been using it for years. Check out the street views. If they were taken in your area you'll see lots of detail.
JUST CURIOUS? PRUNES ARE DEHYDRATED PLUMS. SO WHERE DOES PRUNE JUICE COME FROM?

I have been using it for some time. I have not had the chance yet to load it on the laptop and try it with the GPS. I have noticed that the road overlays do not match sometime with the actual roads. If someone has found an interesting addons how about posting those up as well.

Thanks for that; I hadn't seen/used that before.
