This ought to make the local news here....tonight as it just happened and told to me by my lady friend who works at a local grocery store...and texted to me.

Someone at a local grocery store parking lot stole a truck with a baby inside..

Two legged wildlife..run amok.



Also for the members here a question.

I have noticed that the local 7 Elevens near here are not doing money orders. Have any of you noticed this about many of your convenience stores...in particular 7 Elevens?? This has been going on for at least two weeks now!!


It makes me aware of how much economics takes place across this nation via money orders....and spurs questions in my mind...

Stealing a vehicle and driving away with a baby is very low. OTOH, why would one leave an infant unattended in a vehicle?

This nation has descended into chaos; what else would we expect as a result of defunding law enforcement and DAs refusing to prosecute criminals. I thought catch and release was something fishermen do. Rampant inflation and more.

FWIW, you need a 'MilSpec' or 'HotZone' mask to stop air-borne viruses in the dry, but very little to mostly block emission or inhalation of Covid-laden spatter droplets. There-by mitigating chances of transmission...

Well it looks like this virus can strike twice ! Yes after getting it in 2019 and after two vac shots plus booster I came down with it again. This time it's l feels like the flu! But I'm testing positive!

I've read that none of the available shots will protect one from omicron. As you said it feels like a flu and some experts contend COVID's latest mutation could be the end of its lethality.

No...no....no...that is not possible Tugaloo....the powers that be have not sufficiently fleeced the US Treasury by mandated Vaccines and or boosters....Buckle up...more emergencies to come...more emergencies planned on the horizon..Drama, Drama, Drama...and more Drama.

As for the first time in decades, Republicans lead the Democrats in the polls.... I'd expect, actually I'd bet, the pandemic with be over before the mid-term elections..

As usual, fancy high tech weaponry is funded because politician's voter base profits. Most Americans, me included, want our military to be well equipped; as a result, History repeats itself.

As the 5.56's lethal ROE is ~300 meters and the new 6.8's is ~600 meters; the Army will be replacing the 5.56 with a new 6.8. Is it needed or as usual, the Army is updating based on the last war or conflict. As you pointed out, this applies to all branches of our military.
After WWII, they replaced the .30 CAL with the 7.62 NATO. Some of the reasons were more ammunition in each conex container. Combat loadout was increased and cyclic time was also increased.

Two friends were debating the illegal alien situation. After they went back and forth for way too long; the one said if they had not committed a crime, the should be allowed to stay. The other answered when they crossed our border illegally, they committed a crime, a federal offense.
That was the last debate I ever heard on the subject.

BTW, who else besides illegals are exempt from the "jab" mandate?

Had the same of recent RICHFL....though I have not been vaccinated but have had Covid...

I think I got Covid from my lady friend who has been vaccinated....and boostered..

Other than that I have not change my schedule...and am not a big social butterfly so to speak. Pretty much of a loner here...other than work..



Tugaloo...I dont put that much stock in the Republicans...over the Democrats....for many of them are politicians as well....and I don't think the Republicans are Conservatives....Politicians yes....conservatives no...when push comes to shove.

Generally, more conservative than the Democrats but they too will preserve politics rather than the needs of the American People. I am just cautious about the Republicans and or the fabled Fox News..

To me...between the two parties we are winding up with a non representative government...
