    Sun storm: the Carrington event

    https://www.volcanocafe.org/sun-stor...rington-event/

    IMHO, thought provoking...

( VC's usual fare of volcanoes makes interesting reading, too !! See their NDVP list for a scary, but well-argued collection of 'Be Not There' candidates.)

I read about it.humans would be up the creek on that.but only if that happened again.and of equal or greater strength. The telegraph for them.is cable.phone lines.power lines.etc etc for us.a emp burst of that size now a days.would put us back into the early 1800's..if not further back.and that means a very/extremely large world wide die off of humans.
    be prepared,be worried,be careful..and watch your 6

The first recorded event was in 1859, the last was in 1989. We live in the information age. If we loose that capacity how many would survive being throwing back into the 1890's infrastructure????

I expect over 70 percent die off of the population here in the USA due to famine!!!!!
