That is actually a lot worse than I thought would happen. I was theorizing that China and other countries we are indebted to would denounce our currency world wide which would render it totally worthless (not far from it now). This would cause an economical collapse in the US causing a total meltdown. For example, $20 for a gallon of gas, etc.

We have been completely sold out by our government if this is for real. :mad:

When I typed it in to google search it lit up with 50 of the same response, no one can dispute it yet.

MMM maybe time to think about going way north, to canada.
Only problem is, more than one is going to come after you if you decide to fight, if we are alone we are already defeated as it wont be much of a fight.

While I don't deny that Red China is a one-ton dragon in the middle of the room that does need to be acknowledged and prepared for, and yes, while even the Chinese Communists do have that "Mandate from Heaven" mentality, let's look at this with some perspective:

It did take Red China 60 years to get little Hong Kong and even that they only got by treaty with the British Empire.

Moreover, if Red China was concerned with lebenstraum, wouldn't they have embarked on a policy of encouraging mass emigration of Chinese long before the Muslim nations did so with Europe starting in the 1960s? And wouldn't such mass emigration work at cross-purposes with Communist control of the population?

Wouldn't invasion of an eminent domain-ed U.S. also mean the risk of massive AWOLs, desertions, and mutinies within the People's Liberation Army? Wouldn't there be whole sections of the U.S. peopled with millions of armed Chinese who say: "We see the fruits of freedom and we're not giving them up to Beijing!" We're staying put and fighting with the Americans!"

The modern-day Genghis Khans behind The Great Leap Forward, The Cultural Revolution, and the Tiananmen Square massacre don't care if their human cogs are packed in like sardines as long as the cogs do what they're supposed to do. If the Communists can obtain resources without attaining additional land, they will do so before they risk letting their population get free.

I'd need to see a whole lot more about this before I took stock in it, preferably by someone like Bill Gertz or Stratfor.

Twenty states move to reclaim sovereignty

All I can say is it’s about time! States are finally realizing that the federal government is trying to take over everything, which is the complete opposite of what the founding fathers meant to happen. Now some states are finally coming to their senses and trying to take back their state’s sovereignty.

Four New Hampshire legislators introduced HCR-6 to re-invoke states rights enumerated in Jefferson’s and Madison’s Kentucky Resolutions of 1798. The resolution is a clear shot across the bow of the New Leftist Administration in Washington DC, which is rushing to expand federal control over every aspect of American life, industry and enterprise.

New Hampshire is leading the way for "change" in America, by passing state legislation to stop the feds at the state border. Under HCR-6, the State of New Hampshire would retain her sovereignty and recognizes the state's constitution as the ONLY authority by which the residents of New Hampshire will be subjected to. Everything from 1st amendment rights to martial law and the right to bear arms, will be decided by the state, and not by the federal government. As it should be anyway according the Constitution.

The bill says the State of New Hampshire will basically pullout of the Republic declare sovereignty and order the state police to resist and not follow federal orders if Article 1 establishing martial law or a state of emergency is declared within any one of the states and civil liberties are curtailed.

Before you read the article here is basically what the New Hamphire bill says. I copied the points straight out of the bill:

That any Act by the Congress of the United States, Executive Order of the President of the United States of America or Judicial Order by the Judicatories of the United States of America which assumes a power not delegated to the government of United States of America by the Constitution for the United States of America and which serves to diminish the liberty of the any of the several States or their citizens shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States of America by the government of the United States of America. Acts which would cause such a nullification include, but are not limited to:

I. Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.

II. Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.

III. Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.

IV. Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.

V. Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.

VI. Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition; and

That should any such act of Congress become law or Executive Order or Judicial Order be put into force, all powers previously delegated to the United States of America by the Constitution for the United States shall revert to the several States individually. Any future government of the United States of America shall require ratification of three quarters of the States seeking to form a government of the United States of America and shall not be binding upon any State not seeking to form such a government;

Obama’s $1 trillion deficit-spending ’stimulus plan’ seen as last straw.

As the Obama administration attempts to push through Congress a nearly $1 trillion deficit spending plan that is weighted heavily toward advancing typically Democratic-supported social welfare programs, a rebellion against the growing dominance of federal control is beginning to spread at the state level.

So far, eight states have introduced resolutions declaring state sovereignty under the Ninth and Tenth Amendment to the Constitution, including Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, Oklahoma and Washington.

Analysts expect that in addition, another 20 states may see similar measures introduced this year, including Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Nevada, Maine and Pennsylvania.

“What we are trying to do is to get the U.S. Congress out of the state’s business,” Oklahoma Republican state Sen. Randy Brogdon told WND

“Congress is completely out of line spending trillions of dollars over the last 10 years putting the nation into a debt crisis like we’ve never seen before,” Brogdon said, arguing that the Obama stimulus plan is the last straw taxing state patience in the brewing sovereignty dispute.

Hawaii’s measure calls for a new state constitutional convention to return self-governance, a complaint that traces back to the days it was a U.S. territory, prior to achieving statehood in 1959.

“We are trying to send a message to the federal government that the states are trying to reclaim their sovereignty,” Republican Rep. Matt Shea, the lead sponsor of Washington’s sovereignty resolution told WND.

“State sovereignty has been eroded in so many areas, it’s hard to know where to start,” he said. “There are a ton of federal mandates imposed on states, for instance, on education spending and welfare spending.”

Shea said the Obama administration’s economic stimulus package moving through Congress is a “perfect example.”

“The real turning point for me was the Real ID act, which involved both a violation of the Fourth Amendments rights against the illegal searches and seizures and the Tenth Amendment,” she said.

Burges told WND she is concerned that the overreaching of federal powers could lead to new legislation aimed at confiscating weapons from citizens or encoding ammunition.

“The Real ID Act was so broadly written that we are afraid that it involves the potential for “mission-creep,” that could easily involve confiscation of firearms and violations of the Second Amendment,” she said.

Burges said she has been surprised at the number of e-mails she has received in support of the sovereignty measure.

“We are a sovereign state in Arizona, not a branch of the federal government, and we need to be treated as such, she insisted.

Josh...I added additional information to my comment before the article: The founding fathers were far ahead of their time and obviously far wiser than we are today.

I posted the link to that whole resolution on the State's Standing Up post. It is excellent, though a bit hard to follow the first time through. The Missouri resolution, HCR 13, is shorter and in my opinion more powerful, citing both the Supreme Court and Article 4 of the constitution in addition to the 9th and 10th amendments. I haven't looked at that Missouri resolution until now....it is strong....here is my favorite parts.....some of which we tend to have forgotten:

Whereas, the scope of power defined by the Tenth Amendment means that the federal government was created by the states specifically to be an agent of the states; and

Whereas, today, in 2009, the states are demonstrably treated as agents of the federal government; and

Whereas, many federal laws are directly in violation of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; and

Whereas, Article IV, Section 4 says, "The United States shall guarantee to every State in the Union a Republican Form of Government", .........

and the Ninth Amendment states that "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people";

The pdf file has no references or sources listed, so I'm a little skeptical of it's authenticity. It is a good read though.

I did look into the rense.com site. Whew...that's something else. It appears to have some interesting stuff. The rense site even praises itself for being listed by the US State Dept as a mis-information site. Hmmm, that's interesting on both sides of the coin.

But, the site seems to be mostly an ad banner site, has quite a bit of UFO stuff, and it's largest banner ad is for a checkout line tabloid, so I have serious doubt about it.

Although, there is a lot of VERY interesting stuff on there. Yeah, I'm probably going back to read more. It's like a car wreck, you just have to look.

But, then again, I'm ignernt.

If they knew the BIG picture was them owning our house, I don't have a problem seeing them play along for the short term.
I do not see many American people willing to use delayed gratification in many if any areas of their personal life. When people talk about being overweight or sick to me I suggest fasting, they look at me like I am some idiot from another planet, but yet, what does Nature itself do??
When your dog or farm animals get sick, they normal is to stop eating. ( and the medical field is now recognizing it as aid to better life and well being, even diabetics are benifiting)
I have done it myself for weeks at a time and can honestly say I have never felt better.
Americans as a whole do not have or have practiced the dicipline that most other country's have, and our own melting pot culture has let the erosion of our true purpose fade into oblivion.
We have lived thinking our freedom is right, when in fact it has been our downfall in that we do not use self control on ourselves, so our government steps in with laws to impose on all of us because of the few, and as time has gone on we have (as a nation) relied on the government to tell us what is right and wrong, right down to adopting the UN as a body to govern us, which if that happens will take nearly all rights as parents away from the family unit and give it to the new "police", and as a Homeschooler I know this to be true because we get reports from attorneys who's job is to stay on top of issues like this to stop it from happening

Any way do I believe it is true, yes.
I only pray that our states can hold their own for a while against Federal Government, and the citizens of those states realize it may take their blood to make it happen.

I don't dispute that Red China is trying to kill us with a thousand little cuts. They've long been trying to do that by giving military aid, training, and technology to proxies around the world e.g. aid to the Shining Path terrorists in Peru, selling nuclear and missile technology to Pakistan and Iran, renewed relations and joint military manouvers with Russia, etc.

An interesting note: Charter schools in California controlled by Azatlan/Reconquista types don't teach English, however, they curiously do teach Mandarin Chinese alongside Mexican Spanish.

But a flat-out seizure of the United States by Red China is a different animal entirely.

I seriously doubt that there is biological weaponry that would only kill North Americans while sparing the Chinese. North Americans are too genetically diverse and mixed-up for there to be one serum that would kill us all, (and our mix includes Americans of Chinese ancestry.) Chemical weaponry is far too notorious for coming back on the users. Moreover, the Chinese would have to wait for weeks after a nuclear attack for the radiation and fallout to settle before they could come in and claim U.S. property.

The scenario of a Szechwan-flavored Red Dawn makes for a great Cameron Manheim/Ridley Scott/Jerry Bruckheimer epic-level movie script, but it's not something to plan one's life around. I'll stick to prepping and Survivalism for work-a-day disasters that are much more likely to happen and which are already happening.

Thanks for the reality check. Sometimes its difficult to gain some perspective when you read too much of this stuff. I'd better go & have Chinese food tonight so I can keep tabs on the cell nearest the house. :D

I dont believe it will be a massive attack nationwide, but I dont believe they will have any problem killing their own either if it came down to "the good of their country"

It is hard as Americans to imagine some points that are made because we have had so little sacrifice of this kind in our country, (in our generations) but yet it has gone on in one shape or form all over the globe.

I agree it isnt something to live in fear about, and I hope that isnt the way I am coming across. But I dont take it lightly either.
It is in the catagory of serious consideration.
