  • Internal Unrest

After watching Mr. Beck last night, and seeing his interview with a NH official, I began to really think about the situation here at home. Twenty plus states have now drawn up papers against the actions that the Federal Govt is taking. He stated it was not a seccesion from the Union, but more of a nullifying of Our Constitution by the Federal Govt. Did you ever think in your lifetime you would hear of such a thing? I think it is truly dangerous ground on which we are walking. I do not agree at all with any of the Feds actions. But, I wonder what the rest of the world is thinking? They may see it as a "chink" in our armor. If the US is divided internally, the opportunity to strike is golden. I'm not a expert, so I don't have the answers. There is way too much talk now in the media about our currency collapsing. This tells the rest of the world yet another weakness. We here at the colony have discussed these subjects at great length, and have argued and agreed. But, when you really start to think about such talk and it starts to sink in, none of use are really prepared for what could be the future of our Country. I truly hope and pray none of this comes to pass, but with the deaf ears in our Capitol, it sure seems like we're speeding down that road.
One more thing, I wonder if Big Bro has found this site yet? We need to be careful of what we say and what we show of our "personal belongings". Don't forget the Rules and Regs section.

On the subject of sovereignty, it is not a secession from the union, but rather a separation of federal government mandating state government. Basically pulling away from their thumb.

And, speaking of Big Bro, I had that exact same thought last night when I went to bed. How do we know some of these lurkers aren't actually collecting information? We don't. All we have is trust, and the trust of each other not to divulge information that could be detrimental to the success of our cause.

I think its all of a cover for another false flag attack. The question is which one of our poor cities is going to be the victim?

We are a house divided....and cannot stand.
When i hear a man on the radio state that "tax cuts for working people are actually bad for them in the long run", and that it was "Reagan & Bush tax cuts that caused the current economic crisis" ( yeah, keeping a bigger piece of the fruit of your labor is bad for you) it really hit home to me that this country cant stay together with such polar opposite beliefs on basic policies.
        People are getting angry.....

When will the government be accountable to US??? I am disgusted with what is happening in Washington that they DO NOT listen to us. Seems like we got CHANGE alright... but not all change is good :(

I am concerned about the road this politicians are leading us down. If Texas succeeds, I am going emmigrate there :)

I agree 100% ZA. I will relocate to any state that has the fortitude to break away from this "union". Thot I was born and raised in the right state? We attempted it before!

I would not hold my breath on Texas seceding. The lefties in Austin love the "free" government money from DC too much.

If I was able I'd move to Alaska. Any state that gets an F rating from the Brady campaign is my kind of place.

After watching another of Glenn Beck's internet videos HERE he describes the influx of money since LAST YEAR. Also, regarding the stimulus bill - did you know that the Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 was part of this stimulus package?

I'm still looking for more, but here's a preliminary link http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2186395/posts

A friend of mine, a fellow Texan, calls Austin "Sodom on the Colorado".
