  • "Wise as a Serpent and gentle as a dove"

or "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer"

I'll not be able to read any responses-have a big day but hope this sparks a big response, we all really do need to wake up, I am very ashamed at how little prepared I am-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxerased
In the end we pray, cause that's all we have-I've been there

    But here's one:

"Those who endure till the end, the same shall be saved"

    Matt 24:13

So what do you guys really think this means- ya know like "What end"

The end of your six pack
The end of the nfl season
The end of the nba, nhl, etc season
    The end of an epoch
Life as we know it, earth, this dimension,
    "Your personal reality"
    "Your Faith"
    "Your trials and tribulations"

This is my first thread so,please be easy on the slams

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
To me, it is obvious that it is talking about keeping the "faith".
If you die a natural death, or are martyred for your faith, or live to see
Christs' triumphant return, it doesn't matter as long as you keep the "faith", then you have persevered to the end( KJV "endure unto the end")

Yes, TLM that's the way I would also take it-keeping the "Faith" till the end of your life as you know it-A Concordance does help-Thanks

I've heard alot of other people say that if things get so bad they don't want to survive-don't think that's right though

I think we here in the US have gotten way too used to the "good life". Ask someone in a third world country the question, and they will say everyday is a test of survival. I certainly don't want to give up! Giving up is not exercising your faith, it's exactly what it says, giving up. Faith is what keeps you going. +1 on the Concordance, never hurts to know your Hebrew and Greek.
