    wow

that's insane and took some planning... I hope they catch them, for your sake, I'd bet you like to know who they are. That's awful, can you imagine what else they would steal and at what cost?

    I'm so glad I'm getting a Sig... that's all I'm saying.

:) good luck with your generator shed!

We were dredging and pumping slurry anywhere from 2-4 miles and some of our pumps were very remote. I have never seen the entire tank get stolen...new one on me. is this site in the carolinas? they must of used a roll back or some heavy equipment.
Tank generator and all, and the tank was full. They had plywood layed down across a mud hole which tells me they were using a forklift without offroad tires. That will narrow it way down to a few people in the area. It was in the lower part of SC.

too bad there wasn't any security cameras, I'd have loved to see how they managed that.

started a topic Thieves strike again.

    Thieves strike again.

This one takes the cake. I was just called by a friend of mine who works in the wireless industry with me. One of the cell sites for his company was just robbed. They took a 4'X10'X7'tall generator/diesel tank! They broke through the fence and cut the anchors that had it secured to a concrete pad. This thing has to weigh at least 3,000 lbs or more.

Working...
