I also prefer to keep a low profile. No sense in letting anyone know what I'm up to.

On the contrary, I think everyone who's interested should know what we're into....at least on the light side...and it's a good way to promote the site and it's community locally.

And there's noone on these boards who is without scrutiny from the feds...that's just a fact of life these days.....by now, I'd bet there are at least five 3-letter agencies with info databases on ALL members of ALL survivalist boards....

I have to agree...If you don't want people knowing about it, then how did most of us get here? I found it on Craigslist which hits a lot bigger crowd everyday than a T-Shirt.

I choose to not advertise to the locals what I do or might do. Over the years I have found most people walk around with rose colored glasses. There is nothing I can do about the 3 letter agencies. However I can keep a low profile and if the SHTF I don't want them all to come running to me. They have a chance to prepare just as I do. If they chose not to then they are on their own.

Great thread. I like T-shirts. Who owns the copyright and would want royalties on any X-colony logos? There is a print shop about an hour's drive away. They will put whatever you want on a T-shirt or a jacket or hoody. The more you buy the less per unit.
