I'd say I know where that is, but it all looks the same out here.

Dang Lazer...that driveway shot is pretty close to my front view. I'm facing almost due south, and have also been thinking about clearing enough for a garden. I bought a 4' bush-hog last year and cleared out the undergrowth, then removed the smaller trees that were too big for the hog.

If there was a tree or a river or a pond or something like that you may have a chance at figuring it out. Actually this was taken on 385 south of Fort Stockton heading back into town to eat at the BEST place there.....SubWay! 45 minutes each way from the pumping station to town.

I've got a New Holland skid steer that makes clearing land very easy. I've undermined and pushed over 40" oaks. Been digging a pond too,
but I keep running in to these guys! (That's an old one gallon Clorox jug on the boulder.)

Nice sunset Rusty! Up here in the hills the sun can be seen over one ridge about 10:00-10:30AM and sets behind another about 3:30PM. No horizon to be seen from here. Only time you can see the sky is if you look straight up! Ya'll have a lot more sky out there than I do! :D

I could use a few of those! I'm pretty much rock free.
I have a Kubota BX24 with the FEL and BH...aquired a agri-cutter (bush hog) 6' rake, made a 4' rake, 5' scrape blade, and just bought a PHD for the upcoming fence job and super secret bury tubes. The tractor is a workhorse...just takes alot longer that the big boys.
Wife still says I look like a one armed puppeteer with Parkinson's Disease when operating the backhoe :D

Neither. That's the backside of Table Rock. I am in the Dismal between T.R. and Caesar's Head.

Ah!...forgot about Table Rock. My FIL used to work at the state park there a few years back, as well as Jones Gap. We had our wedding reception at the cabin at Jones Gap SP...had a beautiful snowfall that day.

I love this area. Would be VERY easy to get "lost". If I knew the best way to clear a family of bears out of a nearby cave, I'll guarantee no one would ever find me and I'd be no more than a few hundred yards from a paved road. Bears have used it for the 11 years I have lived here. So far, I have not challenged them but they do keep the riff-raff out! :D
