Does anyone know where I can pick up a 2 stage trigger assembly?

Hi, the M1A's and the M14's COME with a 2 stage trigger.
If it's a crisper lighter trigger you are looking for, your local gunsmith can polish the sear. I do not reccomend you try this at home because if you do not get the EXACT angle correct, you will make your trigger worse! Also the secondary sear might start jumping on you making the rifle empty a full mag with one squeeze of the trigger. This is not full auto, as there is no control at all when you pull the trigger once, everything goes...kind of scary. You WILL still go to jail.
A trigger job on an M1A/M14 will run 50-75 bucks.
There is another more expensive route if there are no local gunsmiths.
Fulton Armory, and Springfield armory makes some superior National Match triggers. You are looking at 2-300 bucks.

Sorry, if you are looking for a trigger assembly, and don't already have one...here is a link to an auction on gunbroker. It's going dirt cheap right now,(77 bucks) it still has 2 days, expect it to hit 200, if it doesn't, you have a deal!

Thanks for the feed back. It does not feel like a 2 stage. It is a even squeeze from start to finish. It is not the standard Mdl M1A, and it is not the Match Mdl either. I was to beleive it was the one between the two.
Syth. stock and greater grade barrel. I'll do some homework and get back into it. Sounds like the Match trigger is the route I imight want to take. thanks again Sir. PF

Good luck with that, let me know how much it hurt your pocketbook, and how nice it is. It would be cool to find an adjustable 2 stage M1A trigger, but I ain't found one yet!!
