I've tried that other board you link. Many of them think that we are in this mess because of capitalism. I get aggravated at them frequently.

I got into a little flamewar the first day I was there...since then, I just keep my head down and avoid anything that is going to raise my blood pressure.=) As here, there is lots of good info, it just requires a little parsing. I only read the news once or twice a week for the same reason. I'm not going to be, or get, any more or less prepared by reading stuff that just makes me furious.

As for capitalism, I agree with you 110%. In my very humble opinion, it is government's infinite meddling with capitalism, that has caused the mess we are in, not capitalism itself.

I, too, got into something of a flamewar over a guy who said that he's tired of capitalism and all the money taken out of his paycheck for it. :eek:

Told him those taxes weren't capitalism, but socialism - the real enemy, and if he hates high taxes (who doesn't????), he should vote for conservatives who want to restore the constitution.
