started a topic FS/FT Regency Programmable Scanner

    FS/FT Regency Programmable Scanner

Photos available, just ask. I only have a few moments to go online right now but I can post them later if you want.

Figured I would offer this here first before anywhere else. I just took this out of service yesterday when I snagged another PRO2096 on "clearance" so I no longer need it. However in the process of moving it I put something on top of it and broke a few of the pathetically weak little plastic slivers that cover the speaker (top-mounted speaker). This does not affect the operation of the radio at all.

OK here we go...this is a nice Regency MX3000 mobile or base scanner (*housing, keypad, and many parts from this can be used with some Regency or Relm mobile front-panel-programmable transceivers), 30 programmable channels, built like a tank sometime in the 1980s. Does not receive 800MHz, does not do trunking, just a simple VHF/UHF scanner. I do not have a manual but I can type something out to tell you how to program it. Also has "search" mode but I never figured out how to use it. Requires common-sized 12VDC power cord and antenna, neither of which are included.

Asking $30 including shipping (somewhat heavy and large), or trade toward Remington 870 magazine tube extension, or HSLD tactical gear (Eagle, Emdom, TT, etc.)

EDIT: Forgot to say, yes this is USED and quite WELL-USED, has some scuffs here and there, etc. Squelch knob is missing but you can turn the little pot by hand.
Working...
