  • 308 Win, 7.62x51 Wolf ammo

(Note this is also in the 'Trade" area)

Picked up 1000 rds cheap for my FNAR.... wont fire these rounds as the primer is set too deep in the brass ( not flush with the end) and my fp wont ping em right....... Now I know why I got em so cheap.. hahah....

Wolf: .308 Win, 150gr FMJ, Steel case, non-corrosive Berdan Primed... 20 per box

Anyway, I have 980 left... anyone want to trade for 'something" or flat out buy it? My price was $240 for 500rnds..

704-682-2173 cell... in North Carolina if you want to do a local trade, otherwise we can work out shipping etc etc...

Mosa Assuming you are talking FAL here? Just had a long conversation with a buddy in Mississippi and he tells me the ones made from after market kits have headspace problems and you have to buy a bolt to get your rifle to headspace to the kit assuming that is what you bought (a kit gun). A FAL should have all kinds of striker energy but if it has the wrong bolt you will have excessive headspace and that is one thing that will do it.

The primers are supposed to be .003 below top of case to maybe .005 below.
Distinguished Rifleman High Power , Distinguished Rifleman Smallbore Prone, Presidents Hundred (Rifle), Palma Teams Member (2), Dewar Teams Member (2), Member 4 Man National Championship Smallbore AnySight Team, Certified Small Arms and Ammunition Test Director Aberdeen Proving Ground , Eagle Scout, AC4HT, NRA Benefactor Member, Firefighter I, Shriner

Was your FN FAL a Century Arms Metric kit?

Probably wasting your time on this one Tyler. This is a 6 yr old post and the original poster hasn't logged in since back in June of 2011.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you!
