    I have a 1927A1 Auto Ordinance Tommy Gun in the Commando configuration. The gun itself is a matt OD green with black wood stocks. It has the 16 1/2 inch vented barrell with flash suppressor. It comes with 1 30 rnd stick, 2 20 rnd sticks, and 1 50 rnd drum (with third hand mounting device). The whole package comes in a violin case. Sweet huh? This weapon would be idea for defending in place but not good for bug out, unless you are just a real hefty guy. It wieghs 13 pounds bone dry. With 50 rnd drum it is between 17 and 18 pounds. Condition is excellent at about 96 to 98%. I will try to post some pictures. I would prefer to sale but would consider trades in the firearm area.

    Sounds awesome what a piece of history, i'd think it was more a collectors item, have you fired it??

    Also be sure to include pics in any of your posts that you can, people really enjoy them

      This is a modern version in semi-auto. I haven't fired it yet but it does look awesome with the 50 rnd drum attached. The only reason I bought it was because of the price and I knew that I could get my money back out of it. The drum didn't come with it, I had to buy it separately. I found one for $200. They usually run around $250 to $350 for the 50 rnd and often upwards of $500 for the 100 rnd drum. Again, not the kind of weapon that you would want to carry around. The only difference in this gun and the original full auto tommy gun is the selector switch and the fact that it fires from a closed bolt position. This makes it more difficult to convert to full auto. Still a great weapon though.
