  • FS/FT: AK47 side-folding stock

I purchased this used at a gun show recently. It did not come with any hardware or a spring; as you can see in the closeup photos, I used the existing nut and bolt from the Galil-style stock that I had on the rifle previously.

The side-folding stock works fine and looks good, it is used but does not appear to have any damage and not much wear. It is not in pristine brand-new condition so don't be disappointed if you are looking for a brand-new stock!

You will need to either get a spring to make this spring-loaded, or add some hardware (I do not know what it would need) to make it lock open or lock closed. As you see in the photos, if I turned the vertical screw a bit more it would function to lock the stock in the open/extended position, however that would keep it from folding. You could shoot with it in the extended position and then fold it onto the side of the rifle, where you could secure it with velcro or duct tape or something similar. However as it is, there is

Asking (that means MAKE AN OFFER) $40 shipped CONUS or trade for quality law enforcement/military tactical gear (Tactical Tailor, Eagle Industries, Emdom, etc. No “Made in Vietnam” Blackhawk gear!)

Are you possibly looking to trade or sell the whole rifle?

Eh, I wasn't thinking of it. The rifle itself is a Romanian with Tapco Galil hardware all around, including the Galil fixed stock. I just put the folder on for these photos. What do you have for trade? I am quite open for trades...among many things, I am looking for: Remington 870 mag tube extension, 5.56/.223 ammo, freeze-dried or dehydrated food, Motorola Jedi series (HT1000, MT2000, etc.) radios or accessories, Icom F11/F21/V8/V82/U82 radios and accessories....etc...

If you want the stock, make an offer, that price is FAR from firm!
